First week in school

Think this is gonna be a short blog as I am heading off for a party, but just thought I should report back from my first week in a german Uni.

Have been positively surprised this week by how it is to attend the german lectures. I'm actually able to understand some of what is going on. Not going to pretend that I understand every single word, but I think I understand what is going on and picking up the important points :D And I guess it just gonna be easyer from now on.

The TUM campus is divided in two main parts, and I am having lectures in both of them. The problem is, it takes approximately 45 min two travell between them, and that becomes quite a lot of time when you are travelling both ways close to every day. But I have solved the problem ;)
Last week I bought Harry Potter in german and as soon as I am on the train, I dive into my book. Now I am actually looking forward to every trip between the campuses.

Going for a cabin trip in the Alps  with  TUMi ( "i" for international) tomorrow. Think it gonna be really great. Will try to upload some pictures when I come back

Back to school

As you might notice I have decided to start writing my blog in English, as I have realised that there are pretty many potential readers who doesn't read Norwegian. Time will shove whether I will continue writing in English, skip further to German :P or go back to Norwegian.

Been a while since last blog. Doesn't really have a good excuse, just too lazy. The last week has been kind of vacation. Originally the plan was to attend a new language course at Technische Universität this week, but it wasn't any good so decided to skip it after a couple of days. With now school me and a couple other norwegian friends decided to check out the Eagles Nest. Wich was sort of a vacation house for Hitler. Had been told that the view should be spectacular, so we were really excited travelling there. But it shouldn't end as well as planned. We managed to take the wrong train with the wrong ticket and when we finally arrived, it suddenly became foggy, so we got only small glimpse of the view. But the bus trip up there was great(  the fog hadn't arrived jet) We drove up this extremely steep road with a landscape which was beyond anything I have ever seen before.

Tomorrow is the first day of school here, or it should have been as I don't have any classes on Mondays :D Not really sure what I think about going back to school. Somehow am I looking forward to getting back into a weekly rhythm with exercising, a little healthier eating habit and going to bed early. But I'm also a little worried about the classes. Will I manage to follow a german lecture? Time will show.

Btw, 25 degrees today :D  That's a little better than Norway today I guess

Btw2, Been really struggling not to use any german words while writing this text. Guess that is a good proof of mine improvements in German :D

Btw3, Those of you who speak English fluently, bear over with my mistakes. Imagine writing this text in German or something.
